Alexandra Kuhnke
Alexandra Kuhnke is a PhD student at the Chair of Data Modelling and Interdisciplinary Knowledge Generation and works as a research assistant at Iwalewahaus, University of Bayreuth. She studied art history, curatorial sciences and museology. Through her work at DEVA – Digitalization, Edition, and Networking in African Studies and as interim Data Curator at the ‘Africa Multiple’ Cluster of Excellence at the University of Bayreuth and working as registrar at an art museum, she also gained practical experience in dealing with collections and qualitative databases.
Her areas of interest currently include the emergence of metadata and their representation, opportunities of interdisciplinary databases, ontologies and the dealing with voids within databases.
