Beatrice Kanyi

Beatrice Kanyi is a PhD student at the Chair of Data Modeling and Interdisciplinary Knowledge Generation and conducts her research within the Cluster of Excellence "Africa Multiple".
Beatrice studied computer science at the Hubei University of Technology-China and completed her master's thesis on "A pharmacy management system based on support vector machines and optical character recognition". She has worked on research in the areas of machine learning, embedded systems, support vector machines and big data. Now, she focuses on topics related to context-awareness in social networks, natural language processing, social network analysis and interdisciplinary approaches to problem solving.
